About

Honest fares, every search.

FrogSky is a travel comparison engine focused on bus + flight tickets across Türkiye, Europe, and the Americas. We aggregate carriers and show you the honest, all-in price — never inflated, never surprise-marked-up at checkout.

Why we built this

Most travel comparison sites are optimized for the comparison site's revenue, not the traveler's wallet. Hidden service fees, baked-in markups, and dark-pattern checkouts are the norm.

We were tired of switching tabs between Kayak for flights, Obilet for buses, and Booking for stays — each one quoting a different price for what is supposed to be the same trip. The data was fragmented; the prices weren't.

FrogSky exists so one search returns one answer: the cheapest legitimate fare across every mode, with the math shown openly. If we're wrong, you should be able to see exactly why.

Our principles

  • No markup, ever

Our service fee is zero. Carriers pay us a small referral commission when you click through; that's the entire business model. Your fare is the carrier's fare.

  • Transparent ranking

Search results are ordered by price, duration, or your chosen sort — not by who pays us most. We don't accept payment for placement.

  • Comparison, not lock-in

Every result links to the carrier's own booking page. You always have the option to book direct; we never trap you in our checkout.

  • Receipts, not promises

When we say "fares typically start at X," we link to the data backing the claim. No vague "as low as" headlines without numbers behind them.

How we work

We track fares on 75+ corridors across Türkiye, Europe, the Middle East, and the Americas. Bus fares are sourced directly from carrier sites (Pamukkale, Metro Turizm, Kamil Koç, FlixBus, etc.); flight fares come through Amadeus and a long tail of secondary providers.

Each route page surfaces a "from-price" floor that updates daily. The fare floor is the median lowest fare observed over the last 30 days, not the absolute minimum — so the number you see is the price you're realistically likely to find, not a one-off outlier.

Editorial guides (blog posts, route comparisons) are written by humans and reviewed for accuracy by a team member who has actually taken the route. Every guide carries a "last updated" date and a named author.

We don't accept paid placement, sponsored content, or affiliate-only listings. If a carrier doesn't pay commission, we still index them — and we say so on the route page when relevant.

How we make money

Full transparency, because you should know.

When you click through to book on a carrier's site (or via an aggregator like Kiwi.com), they pay us a small referral commission — typically 1–3% of the ticket. This is the same model as Skyscanner and Kayak. Your price doesn't change; the carrier absorbs the fee.

We do not earn anything from displaying a fare. We only earn when a click-through results in a booking. This means showing you the cheapest fare is in our financial interest, not against it.

We never sell user data, never run third-party ad networks, and never use dark patterns to push you toward partner carriers. If you want to verify any of this, the source code for the homepage and route pages is open at github.com/frogsky (request access — we'll add you to the repo).
